The Seattle International Film Festival, SIFF, kicked off last Thursday and there are two films that may be of interest to you. The films are described by SIFT below:
Justice for Sale – “follows a human rights lawyer defending a soldier who she believes is innocent of terrible crime, fighting an uphill battle against rampant corruption in the Congo’s convoluted judicial system.”
The Law In These Parts – “depicts the inhabitants of the Occupied Palestinian Territories are subject to military
rather than civilian law. This hard-hitting, impeccably researched documentary puts those responsible on the witness stand.”
