KCBA is pleased to announce that Rory O’Sullivan is joining the King County Bar Association Pro Bono Services staff as our new Housing Justice Project Managing Attorney. Rory will start his new position on October 3rd.
Rory has just finished a two year Equal Justice Works/AmeriCorps fellowship with Northwest Justice Project where he worked on over 400 home foreclosure cases. During his fellowship, Rory supervised and mentored volunteer attorneys, presented CLEs on housing issues and coordinated foreclosure prevention efforts with community partners. Rory is currently an adjunct faculty member at the Seattle University School of Law.
Rory’s past experience includes work as a CLEAR attorney for Northwest Justice Project, a clerkship for Judge Shea, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, and work as a legislative assistant in Washington, DC for Congressman Jim McDermott. Rory is a graduate of the University of Washington and the Georgetown University Law Center.
